ABIGAIL ASANTEWAA
She/Her
Founder

Abigail is an integrative therapist specialising in bridging clinical physiotherapy with holistic, body-based practices. She is well known for delivering bespoke services to support recovery and performance, and optimise overall wellbeing.
Abigail has been working with the body in various capacities for over 24 years, with the past two decades dedicated to sports, healthcare, and wellness. She holds a strong academic and clinical foundation, including a BSc (Hons) in Sports Science (2:1) from Kingston University, a degree in Physiotherapy (2:1) from King's College London, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Sports and Exercise Medicine (Merit) from Queen Mary University of London.
Alongside her clinical training, Abigail has continued to expand her therapeutic and movement-based skillset. She holds a Thai Massage Diploma, has completed CPD training in deep tissue and Lomi Lomi massage, and is also trained in mat Pilates and ante/postnatal Pilates with the Australian Physiotherapy and Pilates Institute. She further deepened her practice through an Ashtanga Yoga Teacher Training at the Abhijna School of Yoga and Meditation in India, as well as mindful meditation training with Yoga Campus.
In 2017, feeling constrained by a healthcare system that left little room for holistic, creative care, Abigail set out on a new path — booking a one-way ticket to India. What followed was a transformative 2.5-year journey dedicated to deepening her understanding of the body, movement, and healing.
Her travels took her through immersive experiences including the study of yoga and meditation in India, working within a plant medicine retreat in the Peruvian Amazon, living in a Buddhist community in the hills of California, and ultimately securing a role at a luxury wellness retreat in Mexico. There, she was given full creative freedom to teach, treat, and integrate her diverse skillset.
Since returning to London in 2019, Abigail has founded Therapeutic Fusions, where she continues to offer personalised treatments at her Bethnal Green based practise space, alongside personal training/gym based physio sessions delivered at a nearby private gym space.
Outside of her professional work, Abigail has a passion for movement and exercise in all of its forms. She enjoys mobility practises, strength & conditioning, running martial arts, rollerskating, yoga and meditation.
