MASSAGE

All on-site massage sessions are delivered by Abigail and can be tailored to your individual needs. The session will begin with a brief discussion around how you are, your body is, what kind of massage you would like and what you like to get from the session. Following on from this Abigail will then suggest what kind of session/ style / combination of styles might work best suit your needs. Styles that Abigail Draws from during her sessions are listed below.

DEEP TISSUE MASSAGE

We have multiple layers of muscle in the body and the use of deeper massage techniques allow the deeper layers of muscle to be accessed. This is a perfectly pressured deep tissue treatment delivering a level of pressure individually tailored to your bodies needs, with pressure modifications made throughout the treatment in an intuitive and responsive manner whilst constantly ensuring your comfort. Contrary to popular belief, deep tissue massages aren’t supposed to be uncomfortably painful and unpleasant – this treatment will expertly cruise the fine and euphoric line between pleasure and pain.

THAI MASSAGE

Performed in loose clothing on a futon-style mat on the floor; using thumbs, hands, knees and feet to massage the body in a rhythmical way. Simultaneously incorporating the use of movement and massage and moving the body through various yogic style postures. The treatment can tailored to be as deep, relaxing or therapeutic as you'd like. A great treatment for those with tight or over exercised muscles. Thai techniques can also be applied during table massages if required as part of a fusion session.

RELAXATION MASSAGE

An oil based massage which is delivered using a light to medium pressure with the application of long gliding and kneading strokes. Designed to release tension in the more superficial layers of muscles, aid muscle recovery stimulate the lymphatic system and circulatory systems, reduce stress hormones and allow you to surrender to a complete state of relaxation.

THERAPEUTIC SPORTS MASSAGE

Specifically targeted at easing muscle/soft tissue injuries, pain and stiffness with a variety of therapeutic techniques. 60-minutes is perfect if you just have one area of injury that needs attending to.
